The anesthesiology and intensive care unit at ESH is well equipped with theatres and intensive care units. Our anesthesiologists provide a wide range of anesthetic services for a variety of surgeries such as:
- Anaesthesia clinics
- Provision of perioperative anaesthesia for a variety of surgeries such as general, paediatric and obstetric surgeries. These include pre-operative visits and reviews, intra-operative and postoperative care and acute pain management.
- Provision of anaesthesia outside the operating room
- Labour analgesia
- Emergency care, resuscitation and acute airway management
- Chronic pain management (e.g. cancer pain management)
